Are you thinking about moving to Arizona to live in a 55+ community? In this episode of The Great Escape, I’m going to take you to Trilogy at Power Ranch, a great community that might be just perfect for you. We’ll look at the amenities and housing options so you can get a good idea of what Trilogy is all about.

Welcome To Trilogy

Trilogy at Power Ranch is a guard gated 55+ community of 2,035 homes. It’s located in Gilbert just south of the 202 Freeway at the corner of Power and Queen Creek roads. Homes range in size from 1,141 square feet to 3,000 square feet.

If you’re familiar with the Trilogy communities, you know that this is a well-planned, beautiful resort-like community. Trilogy has beautiful views of the San Tan mountains along with fine dining in a private resort community. The clubhouse has two resort areas with both indoor and outdoor heated pools, a spa, a fitness center, a sports court, pickleball, a café, and a commercial kitchen.

Community Activities

There are so many things for you to choose from if you want to stay active and social. It has a variety of clubs that include cooking, theater, billiard, bridge, hiking, wine and dine, garden, and travel. There’s also line dancing, tennis, ceramics, and golf.

Golf is available in the community at the Trilogy Golf Club at Power Ranch. This is an 18-hole, 6,730 yards golf course. It’s rated 71.5 and has a slope rate of 126. In the summer, fees are approximately $25 per player. You just can’t beat it.

An Ideal Location

Trilogy at Power Ranch is also in an ideal location. If you travel, you’re going to love the access to the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, which is just three miles northeast. The community is full of walking and biking paths as well.

If you want to go to a park, the Gilbert Regional Park is just 1.5 to 2 miles west. This park has lakes, a splash pad, a huge playground for the grandkids, and great places for you to walk. San Tan Village Mall is located five miles northwest for all of your shopping and dining needs.

There are also smaller shops and restaurants in the immediate area for your everyday shopping. Additionally, a hospital is located four miles northwest.

Housing Options

Now that you know about the community, let’s talk about housing. Currently, there are nine homes available. These range from $529,000 for a 1,407 square foot house built in 2002 to a 2,156 square foot house built in 2007 for $745,000.

If you want a house on the golf course, there is a 1,411-square-foot house built in 2001 for $599,000 that backs to the golf course. However, Power Road runs on the other side of the golf course, so you’re also going to have a little noise with that view. The HOA fees are $168 a month, which is really great for a guard-gated community.
